The Magical Daredevil Comedy Show is world record breaking and original. James is the only person in the world who invites audience members to climb inside the balloon with him hoping to break his record of 14 people inside the balloon! The show has even been featured on National TV.

How it all started

After experimenting with circus props, James realized the audiences needed something more spectacular. James saw a guy with a big balloon on his head on the internet and decided that would be fun! One thing lead to another and James started inviting others into his balloon. His claim to fame is now being set by attempting to set a record to see how many people can fit into a 6-foot balloon. So far the record stands at 10 children and one adult for a total of 11 people. (this doesn’t fit with the numbers above) Depending on the venue, not every show allows enough time to put in the maximum amount of people inside the balloon. You can be guaranteed that the show will be very entertaining to say the least since there is usually time to fit in at least three people.

How does he do it?

Using a household leaf blower to "super size" his gigantic balloon, James stretches the opening of the balloon to slowly inch his entire body inside the balloon. The opening of the balloon is four inches wide. This makes it a tight and exhilarating feat. People watch in true amazement since most people have never seen someone climb into a balloon before.

The show includes hanging high in the air as he escapes from a straight jacket upside down, holding his breath under water tied in shackles fighting for his life to get out of a clear plexi-glass cube, and escaping from chains and restraints from which the audience participates as he struggles to escape a 55 galloon drum. Regulation straight jacket

A classic escape artists tool to prove the impossible. James is securely harnessed by members of the audience and then given the opportunity to beat all odds and escape as fast as he can. This escape can be paired of with other escapes noted below or performed high above the crowd on a burning rope!

Crammed Cubed Caos

All new version of Houdini’s glass box escape! Five pieces of 1/2 inch acrylic are fastened together with the strongest adhesive known creating an air and water tight cube which plays very very big!. Rigorous examination by an audience committee before and after escape is possible and recommended. Four fully inspectable hasps and staples are used to secure the lid and borrowed locks can be used. The performer is shackled and crunched into the small space. Water is added to build tension and watch pure human achievement. The lid is secured and the four hasps are locked. The performer is covered and escape is made leaving the cube locked as it was before. Wonderfully Miraculous!

55 gallon daring drum escape

Fully inspectable, this drum is perfect for display in any public area for examination. During the performance the drum is filled with water and locked with the performer inside. James Johnson climbs in and the lid is put in place. Here is the kicker! The original factory steel sealing ring is secured over the lid. It can be tightened with a screw or locked with an examined lock. This ring seals so tight that the drum becomes air/water tight. Escape proof! As time ticks by, to the astonishment of the audience, the artist makes their escape. Magnificent and diabolical! This escape must be seen to be believed. You can even use borrowed locks!

Water Torture Cell

The ultimate escape! The performer's ankles are locked into the stocks and the performer is then lowered into the Water Torture Cell. The locks are then secured to the cell with four locks, which may be borrowed from the audience. Escape occurs in moments yet the unit can be fully examined before and/or afterwards.

Duration of the shows

The duration of the shows are between 15 minutes to one hour depending on the venue. Fifteen minute halftime shows or a fast paced hour long record-breaking attempt latex bubble show are available.
